These terms apply to your use of this website and to handyman work you book with ArmHandy. Booking work with us means you accept them.
Our services
We provide residential handyman services including repairs, installations, assembly and maintenance within our published service area. Some work requires a specialist licensed trade — for example major electrical, plumbing or structural work. Where that is the case we will tell you plainly rather than take the job.
Estimates and pricing
Estimates are free and valid for 30 days. An estimate is based on the information available when we give it. If we find hidden conditions once work starts — concealed water damage, non-compliant previous work, or similar — we stop, explain what we have found and give you a revised price before continuing. You are never charged more than the agreed figure without your approval.
Scheduling and cancellation
We give you an arrival window and will contact you if anything changes. Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule so we can offer the slot to someone else. Repeated same-day cancellations may incur a call-out charge, which we will always warn you about first.
Payment
Payment is due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing. Larger jobs may require a deposit toward materials. We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and bank transfer. Overdue balances may accrue interest at the maximum rate permitted by California law.
Workmanship warranty
We guarantee our labour for 12 months from completion. If work we performed fails in normal use within that period, we return and correct it at no labour charge. The guarantee does not cover damage from misuse, accident, other trades' work, normal wear, or materials you supplied. Manufacturer warranties on parts pass to you in full.
Your responsibilities
Please provide safe access to the work area, secure pets, and tell us about known hazards such as asbestos, lead paint or concealed wiring. Where practical, clear valuables and fragile items from the area before we arrive.
Limitation of liability
We carry liability insurance and take responsibility for damage we cause through our own negligence. To the fullest extent permitted by California law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the work in question, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost income. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Content on this site is provided for general information. Prices shown are typical ranges, not binding quotes — only a written estimate is binding. All site content, text and branding belongs to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If a dispute arises, contact us first — nearly everything is resolved with a phone call. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Los Angeles County, California.
